Safety certification for your peace of mind

Elite Sweets was one of the first BRC and HACCP certified dessert manufacturers in Canada. Our commitment to food safety and good manufacturing practices is regulated daily internally and audited annually by a third-party auditing body. They act as your assurance and our promise that our plant is maintained to the highest hygiene and food safety standards.


  • British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety Certification
  • The BRC standard is a recognized Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), aimed to harmonize international food safety standards.
  • By achieving this certification against the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, it proves our level of competence in HACPP, hygiene, food safety and quality systems. At the same time it demonstrates our commitment to consumer safety.
  • By having this Food Safety initiative in place we can accurately access Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) to manage risks by following a step-by-step approach and therefore giving us full traceability on all of our products.
